Volunteers
One of the best ways for you to learn about what children do in school is to come and join us!
We are always glad to welcome parents, grandparents and other members of the community into the classroom to hear children read or work with a group on an activity. We already have a good team of volunteers who do this, giving the teacher a regular commitment of a morning or afternoon each week. You will help to give children that vital one-to-one adult/child attention which is so valuable.
Please note that at Kingsacre we are committed to safeguarding our children and therefore all volunteers, like all staff, will be subject to a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check before commencing regular contact with the school. You will also be asked to complete a volunteer application form which can be found in our Volunteer Policy below:
